Increased Emphasis on Deed Restriction Violations for Unsightly Yards
You may be the recipient of, or talked to one of your neighbors who has recently received, a Deed Restriction Violation (DRV) letter for mowing and edging, weeds in gardens, trimming bushes and shrubs. For months the Board of Directors has used this web site to ask residents to be responsible homeowners/renters and maintain a presentable lawn and yard. Our management company, who inspects properties every two weeks, has been instructed to place increased emphasis on DRV's concerning lax yard maintenance. The Board follows strict procedures for notification and enforcement of DRV's. One of our remedies is having the violation corrected and billing the homeowner for the work done. If you have received a DRV letter recently, please give the situation your immediate attention. If you have never received a DRV, congratulations!
