LongenBaugh Construction Coming!
County Commisssion Steve Radack's office has informed us of an impending intersection improvement project on Longenbaugh. The project will include traffic signals at Longenbaugh at Royal Gardens and at Sunny Ridge and will include construction of dual left turn lanes on Longenbaugh at SH 6. The same time that the traffic signals are made operational the two multiways (stop signs) on Longenbaugh at Brooks Springs and at Sand Prairie will be removed so that only the minor street approaches will be stop (sign) controlled. Work is expected to begin about April 1st, with completion sometime early July, 2010.

New Playground Equipment - We need your input!
The Board of Directors has commissioned a Playground Equipment committee. Its charter is to recommend new playground equipment and accessories for all of our three parks. Director Jacqui Pettitt, the chairperson, is asking the residents of Wheatstone Village to get involved in this significant undertaking. If you are interested in helping to provide safe and enjoyable recreational areas for our children, please click this link and send us your contact information.

Pools are "Closed for the Season"
The pools are closed from November 1st to March 31st. Help us keep our pools safe. Report any vandalism or unusual activity to the Sheriff's Department at 713-221-6000.
